Happy {Inter}National Scrapbooking Day!

OK, I know it doesn't officially start until Saturday, but I want to make it last a little longer! All weekend long I have a great grab bag at my stores for only $3. It has 5 brand new products (full gender neutral kit, 1 template set, an alpha set, clipping masks, and a date stamp set) that are totally versatile. Here is a little peek -

NEW Release and Dollar Day at Elemental Scraps

Hi everyone! I have 2 new products out today, and they are both on sale for $1 today only, at Elemental Scraps.

I have these fun whimsical date swirls, each month comes with the plain swirly month, and an embellished copy as well.

And I LOVE this alpha! Houndstooth is one of my favorite patterns, and it is so popular right now in fashion.

Sounded like fun so I've done my own!

I loved this layout by cdanielshafer using Teen Angst:

Blast From The past

Since there are no new releases this week due to the Big Blowout sale at ES, i thought i would take you back through a couple of my favourite kits of Jennifer's that are in the sale. Firstly there is After The Rain. I love the colours in this kit and the cute felt elements. I am a sucker for buttons too so this kit really appealed to me!

Then there is the gorgeous Harvest Moon. Oh man, what can i say about this kit, apart from the obvious... It's just gorgeous!! The papers are the cutest and again the colour combo is lovely. Definitely one of my favourites!!

So head on over to Jenn's store and pick yourself up a bargain. You will not be disappointed! :)

CT Feature- Loribear

This month I'm putting the spotlight on another fabulous CT girl- Lori. Known around the digicommunity as Loribear. She is a wonderful scrapper and such a fabulous lady. I had the pleasure of an interview with her.

*Questions*

My Name is Lori Worsfold
I am from London Ontario Canada and still reside here... I have lived all over this great planet ...from London England to the Florida Keys to Vancouver BC...LOL
I love to watch movies, old 40's and 50 ones are my faves..I recently watched Twilight and hate to hop on the bandwagon ...but I am in love Edward Cullen...ROFLAMO I also do alot of handcrafts like soap and candle making to knitting and painting.

Questions.

1. why do you scrapbook? Well I started paper scrapping/rubberstamping many years ago as a creative outlet, now I do it for my total pleasure!

2. what is your inspiration? I get inspiration in many forms, it could be art or something from a magazine or simply just seeing something and connecting with it

3. what is the one thing in your stash that you could not live without? Papers... you can do so many things with them and they are soo pretty.

4. one thing you want everyone to know about you? I love to scrap in my jammies and crazy slippers.. Its when I am most comfy.

5. what is a new technique you learned you would love to share with us? I actually just started using layer masks more.. instead of going through with a fine little brush to delete I can now use a mask to do it and have it look like things are twined together... very cool!

Please link me to one of your favorite Jennifer Barrette Kits. Pretty Please - I LOVE the color combo and that marquee paper is so awesome.
